Asia-Europe Class Has Moved from the Virtual Classroom to Reality

The students from Millennia Institute from Singapore visited Gimnazija Ptuj, Slovenia.
From 22 – 30 November 2011, 13 students from Millennia Institute (Singapore) and 13 students from Gimnazija Ptuj (Slovenia) together with their mentors, Desmond Tan, Tamiselvi Dio Muthu, Irena Ivanuš, Branimir Rokavec and Darja Rokavec built the first bridge of school co-operation between Singapore and Slovenia, actually the first bridge linking Slovenia and Singapore and Asia in general. ICT For Language Learning
East Speaks West, West Speaks East Goes to Florence, Italy

"East Speaks West, West Speaks East" has been accepted to be presented in the 4th edition of the International Conference "ICT for Language Learning" which will take place in Florence, Italy on the 20 - 21 October 2011. This conference has the aim to promote and share good practice and transnational co-operation in the field of the application of ICT to language learning and training. It is also an excellent opportunity for the presentation of previous and current language learning projects funded by the European Commission and by other sources. Read More |

Exchange Program between Al-Azhar Islamic Schools and St. Mark’s Schools
India, July 2010
In July 2010, 9 students and 2 accompanying teachers of Al-Azhar Islamic Senior High School 3 (known as SMA Islam Al-AZHAR 3), Jakarta visited St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School, Meera Bagh, New Delhi to start a face-to-face program between the two schools. The establishment of the partnership was initiated by two teachers from the two schools, Ms Wati Wardani and Ms Geeta Rajan who met each other during 8th Asia-Europe Classroom Network Conference in Sønderborg, Denmark in October 2009 organised by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF).
